If a student experiences technical difficulties while taking an Assessment (e.g., WiFi issues, frozen screen), and is forced to exit the assessment before completion, the student can log back in and resume the assessment at the point where he or she left off. It is important to note, however, that the clock that is tracking the time limit on the Assessment will continue to run once the student has started the assessment, even if the student has logged out. Therefore, students should return immediately to an assessment after resolving their technical issue.
- If a student is forced to exit an assessment before completing it, they will automatically be asked to return to the assessment when they log back in, assuming there is still time remaining on the Assessment clock.
- If the the time expires before the student completes the assessment, the attempt on that assessment is automatically submitted for a score.
- Once a score is submitted on an attempt, the student must wait for the designated cooling off period to expire before making another attempt, if additional attempts are allowed for the assessment.
- If a student has technical issues that prevent them from returning to an Assessment prior to the time limit running out, the student should email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
